Honeymoon in Bali- Best Things to Do

Bali is one of those destinations where romance comes alive. Spending time and sharing experiences with your better half is the highlight of a honeymoon, and Bali offers a whole range of activities that you can do together.

On the island, there are multiple hubs for different sorts of activities that you and your partner can indulge in for a memorable holiday. Here is a curated list of the best areas to visit in Bali to liven up the romance.

1. Watch the stunning sunset at Tanah Lot Temple

This iconic Hindu temple sits atop a large rock formation and is one of the seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. Famed for its unique offshore setting and mesmerizing sunset landscape set amid crashing waves, Tanah Lot is a Bali icon that is not to be missed.

2. Seminyak

Looking for a place where you can have your privacy, but still feel like you’re part of the crowd? Seminyak is the place to be. A slightly calmer, more refined version of busier Kuta, Seminyak is home to choice nightclubs, shopping, restaurants and cafes, and luxurious resorts.

3. Ubud

A little bit of culture and art, and a whole lot of beauty — Ubud in Central Bali is where you will find yourself cut away from the beaches, but amid verdant paddy fields, rolling hills, scenic waterfalls and sacred temples.

4. Relax on Bali’s best beaches

Kuta Beach is great for learning to surf — you can get a package that includes an instructor for about IDR 150k to 200k (S$15–20), or just the board for about 50k (S$5) an hour.
Legian Beach, close to Kuta beach, is separated by a narrow beach road not accessible to cars, so if you are looking for a less crowded option with the same perks, Legian Beach might just be your beach. If you want to get away from all crowds, try Balangan Beach which is 40 minutes outside Kuta.

5. Nusa Dua

Long sandy stretches of golden sand and crystal-clear waters mark the coastline of Nusa Dua, not to mention the lavish hotels and resorts by the beaches. It’s a destination that’s cut away from the crowds and is perfect if the calm of Bali is what you’re looking for.

6. Tegallalang

One of the best places to visit in Bali for honeymoon is the Tegallalang Rice Fields. Famous for its beautiful rice paddy fields, Tegallalang is a UNESCO heritage site to be included on your honeymoon. This is one of the most Instagrammed attractions and makes for great couple photos.

7. Mount Batur

One of the best Bali romantic getaway for couples is Mount Batur which is an active volcano in Bali. Enjoy a romantic sunrise hike to admire the breathtaking panoramic view from the top. This hike will take your breath away as it shows you some beautiful hot springs, crater lake, etc. on the way.

8. Live like royalty in your own private pool villa

Bali is well known to have some of the best villas in Southeast Asia, with some so luxurious it can be said to deliver an experience close to paradise on earth. For your Bali honeymoon, look forward to private pools, jacuzzis, and endless spa treatments
